In a battle between two of the NBA’s most versatile players, Russell Westbrook finished with more points, but Giannis Antetokounmpo had the more efficient outing, and his team got the win as well.
The Milwaukee Bucks edged the Oklahoma City Thunder, 98-94, with “The Greek Freak” leading the way.
In 41:13 minutes, Antetokounmpo tallied 26 points on a 10-of-19 clip, making it a double-double with 10 rebounds, and adding five assists, a steal, and a block, versus just one turnover.
On the opposite end, Russell Westbrook finished with 30 points, but he needed 28 shots. The Milwaukee D clamped down on the triple-double machine in the second half, allowing just 12 points on 3-of-17 shooting. The Thunder star also picked up seven boards, six dimes, three swipes, and five miscues.
