The cagey veteran coming back from injury. The young up-and-comer looking to make a name for himself.
This scenario has unfolded many times throughout many different NBA training camps. For this post though, it’s Kobe Bryant, and Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson, with “The Black Mamba” going baseline and hitting a jumper over a backpedaling and falling Clarkson. “Don’t hurt yourself!” Bryant taunts the rookie Clarkson.
When you’re done watching that, check out Kobe’s explanation for why he trash talks his own teammates during practice. It make sense. From a Mamba-point of view.
