Thirdy Ravena, one of the top Philippine prospects is taking his talents to the international stage.
The Japan B.League announced today that Ravena was signed by the San-en NeoPhoenix as part of the Asian Player Quota initiative that was introduced last November.
Ravena, a three-time UAAP Finals MVP brings his all-around and high-flying game to the NeoPhoenix. The NeoPhoenix are three-time champions of the B.League with their last crown coming in 2015. In the 2019-2020 season though the team finished with a 5-36 record, finishing last in their division.
The B.League hopes that the introduction of Asian players like Ravena will improve their local players and help the growth of their league to the other Asian Markets.
