The NBA announces full restart format and schedule

It’s full steam ahead for the restart of the NBA.

The league announced today the format and full schedule of the games happening at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida starting July 30 (July 31 Philippine time).

As planned, there are 22 teams returning to play eight seeding games. The whole pool is composed of 13 West teams and 9 East teams.

These seeding games will determine who the eight best teams are in each conference. Their records from the seeding games will be added to their records during the regular season. If the ninth seed is within four games of the eighth seed, the two will have a play-in tournament where the eighth seed has a twice-to-beat advantage.

After that, the NBA Playoffs will resume with their traditional seven-game series for each round.

The league will kick-off on July 30 (July 31 Philippine time) with a double-header featuring the Jazz facing the Pelicans followed by the match-up between the Lakers and Clippers. Here’s the full TV schedule of the seeding games:
