Most Memorable Game: “Noong natalo namin San Beda sa game one ng Final Four. Lamang sila ng 17 points noong first half. Then nung second, mas nag focus kami sa depensa, kaya nahabol namin sila. Nagkaroon kami ng kumpiyansa na kaya namin sila talunin. Kaso lang kinapos na kami nung game two.”

In a country that bleeds for big men, whichever college lands current Arellano Brave Aaron Fermin will be very lucky. Not only is he tall, he’s also strong. “Lumaki ako sa bukid. Kaya feel ko may advantage ako sa katawanan,” shared Fermin. Indeed, he does. It’s the reason why he’s attracted school suitors even with two years left in high school.

At 6’5”, Fermin is athletic enough to play multiple positions. And this could be something that holds true when he rises to the collegiate scene. He’s currently trying to add small forward skills to his arsenal, while fine-tuning his big man abilities. Pivot and outside shooting are two things he focuses on in practice.

Aaron works hard everyday to honor the man who led him to a basketball career – the late Gilbert Bulawan.
