Prince Eze tip wins it for Perpetual on their home court

The Perpetual Altas completed a thrilling come back on their home court to down the San Sebastian Golden Stags.

With 3.3 seconds left in a tied game, Jelo Razon inbounded the ball to AJ Coronel who popped out to the corner. Coronel lobbed up a pass that Prince Eze tipped into the basket as he was surrounded by two defenders. The Eze tip gave the Altas a two-point lead with only 0.5 seconds left on the clock. The final heave of the Stags hit back iron and bounced out giving Perpetual the win.

That shot by Eze completed a stunning come back after being down by 21 points. Early in the game it was all San Sebastian as the Stags looked to continue their winning run. Allyn Bulanadi was on fire in the first half. He scored 16 of his 21 points to lead San Sebastian. He was joined by JM Calma who fired six points in the second quarter as the Stags extended an eight-point lead to as high as 21 points in the second period.

The Altas found their range in the second half. Edgar Charcos, Rey Peralta and Coronel who were limited to a combined three point in the first half caught fire in the latter quarters. Charcos and Peralta led a comeback in the third quarter when the two combined for 17 points. They outscored the Stags who only managed to put up 11 in that same stretch. In the final period Coronel teamed up with Charcos to score 18 points to complete the comeback.

Eze led the team with 22 points, 18 rebounds and six blocks. Charcos finished with 18 points, 17 coming in the second half. Peralta and Coronel combined for 20 points and three treys.
