PBA on hold due to COVID-19 issues

The PBA announced starting today, March 11, they are cancelling all PBA-related events including PBA, PBA D-League and PBA 3×3 events indefinitely.

In a statement released to the public today, the PBA Board of Governors decided to put on hold all league activities “until further notice.” This is in light of the current situation the country is facing regarding the outbreak of the coronavirus in the past few days.

The league decided to put the safety of their players, officials and fans first, that’s why they came to that decision.

Right now, there is no timetable for the return of the league, but they are taking it on a “day-to-day basis.” Once the situation settles they will decide how to move forward with the on-going PBA Philippine Cup as well as the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup.
