Everything is finally official. It’s been weeks of reports and speculation regarding the coaching changes that was happening with the DLSU Green Archers and the UST Growling Tigers. But now, things are finally official as both schools have announced the coaching changes.
The Green Archers through the social media page of the Office of Sports Development has announced that top assistant coach Louie Gonzalez is the new Head Coach of the team.

Gonzalez was Aldin Ayo’s deputy head coach in DLSU while. His resume includes lead assistant roles with other college teams such as FEU and Letran as well as pro teams Kia and GlobalPort. The school also acknowledged Ayo’s statement a few days earlier and thanked him for his two years of service with the team.
As for the UST Growling Tigers, they let the hoopla of Ayo leaving DLSU die down before announcing that he will take over as head coach of the Growling Tigers. The confirmation was made by their school paper, The Varsitarian.

Ayo will be coaching UST for the next six years as stated in the post. The UST Institute of Physical Education and Athletics will make the official announcement of Ayo’s hiring on January 11.
