LOOK: Here’s the schedule for the 10th SEABA U18 Championship for men

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas has released the schedule for the 2016 SEABA U18 Championship.

The tournament will take place from April 23 to 28, in Medan, Indonesia.


The Batang Gilas team is shooting for a fifth straight championship, having won seven of the previous nine contests.

During the 2014 edition, the Philippines posted a perfect 3-0 record, behind players like Josh Caracut, Thirdy Ravena, Radge Tongco, and Mark Dyke.

The Gilas Cadets went on to finish fifth in the 2014 FIBA Asia U18 Championship, after falling 90-86 to Chinese Taipei in the quarterfinals and beating Japan 113-105 in overtime in the classification round.

The SBP has yet to release a roster or a pool for the upcoming competition though.
