Kobe Paras and the rest of Team Teague finished the 2015 adidas Uprising All-American Camp with an 80-72 win over Team Rose, Friday evening (PHL time) at the Long Island – Post University in New York.
Paras logged 37 minutes of action and finished with 11 points on 5-of-11 shooting, though he missed all three of his triple tries and was just 1-of-4 from the foul stripe. The UCLA-commit did add four rebounds, and flashed a new aspect of his game by handing out a tournament-best five assists.
After five games, where Team Teague went 3-2, Paras finished with averages of 11.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists.
Paras shot 58.97 percent from the field for the entire tourney, though his three-pointer was still a work in progress, as he made only 4-of-13 or 30.77 percent of his long bombs, including 0-of-4 in the last two games. He also hit only 9-of-15 free throws, for a 60 percent clip.
Up next for Paras is a stint in the adidas Global Nations camp, which will take place in Long Beach, California, from July 31 to August 3. Paras will be part of Team Asia in that event.
