Jayson Tatum is just different.
He was born and raised in Missouri. The Show Me State. That’s exactly what he did. He showed everyone just how good he is. He stayed home to play for a local high school in Missouri before killing it as a freshman in Duke. As a rookie, he didn’t miss a beat. Tatum played like a seasoned veteran, stepping up for Gordon Hayward. He continued to prove himself during a deep Playoff run with the Celtics.
This season, Tatum is out to show everyone that his rookie year wasn’t a fluke.
Also in the issue, the SLAM PH team takes a look at three different point guards. Alex Cabagnot talks candidly about his PBA and international career. Paul Lee continues to defy expectations while Ronnie Magsanoc, takes a look back at his storied career.
SLAM #218 is out now in Titan Fort and the web store. This issue will be released in all Titan doors and major bookstores within the week.
