IN PHOTOS: All-Star Game Belongs To The OGs

A team of future Hall of Famers, led by hometown hero Steph Curry, took over All-Star Sunday.

A new All-Star Game format didn’t stop Shaq’s OGs from taking over All-Star Sunday.

After beating Candace Parker’s Rising Stars, the team of future Hall of Famers led by Steph Curry and Kevin Durant went on to defeat Chuck’s Global Stars in the final game of the mini tournament.

Despite missing LeBron James (foot, ankle injury), the OGs had little difficulty in getting to 40 – thanks to the hometown heroics of Steph Curry. He scored 12 points on four 3s, enough to earn him MVP honors.

“This is very symbolic of the entire journey,” Curry said. “Having played here for 16 years – and this is the only place I’ve played – it’s a great celebration of basketball in this area.”
