This year’s Rising Stars Challenge was special. Four teams played in a mini tournament that had higher stakes than before: a chance to play at All-Star Sunday.

In the end, the team coached by Golden State Warriors legend Chris Mullin came away with the trophy. They beat Team G League, coached by another former Warrior, Jeremy Lin.

San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephon Castle was awarded MVP for leading the way with 12 points and two assists in the final game. He was on fire for Team M, capping off the MVP performance with the game-winning assist to Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George.

Team C’s win got them a shot at Shaq’s OGs on Sunday’s All-Star tournament.
