The PBA announced today the list of 15 PBA players that are part of the Gilas pool for the 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games. With Coach Tim Cone heading the team, it’s no surprise that a solid group of Ginebra players have been selected to the pool.

Leading the way for Ginebra are former Gilas players Scottie Thompson, Stanley Pringle, LA Tenorio and Japeth Aguilar. Greg Slaughter, who missed out playing for Gilas during the World Cup Qualifiers last year is also part of the pool. The Ginebra players are rounded out by young forward Art Dela Cruz.
The rest of the pool is made up of Gilas mainstays. Jayson Castro, who opted out of the 2019 FIBA World Cup is included in the pool alongside June Mar Fajardo, Marcio Lassiter, Matthew Wright, RR Pogoy, Troy Rosario and Christian Standhardinger. Also named to the pool with a chance to represent the country as members of Gilas for the first time are Chris Ross and Vic Manuel.
There is no news on who will be the naturalized player for the SEA Games yet.
