The Greek Freak isn’t going anywhere.
After a month of sneaker free agency, Giannis Antetokounmpo has decided to re-sign with Nike. He announced his decision on his social media accounts earlier today.

When his contract with Nike expired last October 1, several brands went after the Milwaukee Bucks superstar hard. Both Adidas and Li-Ning tried to sign Antetokounmpo to their brand. Adidas even went as far as to send the NBA superstar a truck full of shoes and gear as the expiration of his contract was nearing.
Based on a report by Nick De Paula and Darren Rovell, Nike went all in. Although the terms of the deal haven’t been released yet, it’s reportedly a multi-year contract that was centered on Antetokounmpo getting his own signature shoe. This means that by 2019, Nike could be releasing what insiders are calling the “Giannis 1” in the market.
