Castro, Pringle, Jalalon and Pingris complete 2019 PBA All-Star lineups

Two weeks ago, the PBA announced the Starters for the North and South All-Stars as a result of the fan vote.

The final slots on both All-Star teams have been filled up by the coaches of the league and their selections for the All-Star Reserves include several national team players.

The North All-Stars continue to add to their already loaded back court. Joining Paul Lee, LA Tenorio and Marcio Lassiter are Jayson Castro, Stanley Pringle, Alex Cabagnot and Chris Banchero. Gabe Norwood, Arwind Santos, Troy Rosario and Marc Pingris will bolster the starting front court composed of Calvin Abueva and Japeth Aguilar.

The South All-Stars get a balanced group of reserves. Terrence Romeo, Baser Amer, Jio Jalalon and Chris Ross join the starting back court of James Yap, Mark Barroca and Scottie Thompson. The front court of Greg Slaughter and June Mar Fajardo will be joined by forwards RR Pogoy, Poy Erram, Joe Devance and PJ Simon.

The coaches of the top two teams in the league by March 10 will coach the All-Star Teams. The PBA All-Star Weekend will start on March 29 and will be held in Calasiao, Pangasinan.
