Beau Belga: ‘Nagbago na ako. Promise.’

The PBA Governor’s Cup Finals series has been extremely physical with Marquis Blakely and Beau Belga in the main event every game. It sometimes starts to look like an MMA match. The physicality of the game, plus the image that Beau has, has the referees keeping a close eye on everything that he does.

Halfway through the third quarter of Game 5 things didn’t change. This time, Big Beau puts his shoulder into a sprinting Marquis Blakely and gets ejected from the game for getting his second technical foul.

But don’t hold it against Belga for the physical play. As for the image, he is trying to change that on the court. Off court, he really is a good guy. Now, he has been making progress when he is playing.

Nagbago na ako pare. Promise. Pangatlong technical ko pa lang ‘to sa Governor’s,” was Big Beau’s explanation. Yes, he has only three techs this conference. We were shocked too.

With Game 6 on Friday, and a slight bump in the road for Belga’s imaging revamp, another round of Blakely vs Belga will definitely be something to watch.

Weh… I doubt you will ever change. That boar/man is and will still be a brawler. I wish he have just played american football.

Belga’s not playing basketball. It’s basketbrawl for him.

Well it’s just what Robert Jaworski once said; “Kung ayaw mong masaktan, mag-chess ka na lang.”
